movie review-Eve and The Fire Horse

just watched this movie on Saturday, actually my brother forced me to watch me it , hahahha.

so I watched with no much expectation, the movie is not those big hit movie, nor it has any superstar in it, is just a very simple movie with plenty of meaning in it, I kinda like the 2 actress as they are so original and innocent.

The movie trying to show the struggle of Chinese in western country, at one point, their parents try to protect their traditional Chinese culture while their off-springs understand the superstitious, the religion and the culture and they swayed away from what their parents taught them.

I still dun quite understand the ending..

but all in the all, is rather a good movie. I would recommend this movie.

Finally....Graduated

finally, after 5 years of tears and sweat (or rather books and exams and assignments), not to forget all the crazy things we did during the pass 5 yrs, we have finally graduated........

congrats!!.....Especially to those who really excel in it, and this year is a bit special as our own gang Avinash make us proud by getting the chancellor Gold Award .

so here are some pics that some of you might be interested to take a look at...

is graduation is about holding the scroll?
wearing the square hat?
wearing the robe?

its a time when we finally classified as
"GRADUATES"
"UNEMPLOYED"
"BIG GIRL & BIG BOY"

our status being " STUDENT" is no longer there, no more pocket money from our sponsors.

its time to earn our very money that means more responsibility .....More commitments, with the amount of money we gonna earn, it does not mean we are richer, simply because we have more responsibility. Its time to wear the suit, walk in heals with the clicking sound........

well, many letters later, the picture above might fade, but the memories still remain!!..
gonna miss all u guys
whenever you guys are, however much everyone is earning, however far everyone is,
I am still gonna miss all you guys!!........

me and nature and animals

am crusing......heheheh, going from sweden to finland using Viking Line, .....the journey took bout 14 hrs and best of all is for us as backpackers, we do not take cabin , so all of us are sleeping in a sleeping room on the floor with sleeping bags, can hear funny snores and see funny people......not comfy but great experience.
me sitting with a pool of small flowers.....quite common here but to me its really nice seeing those flowers.
yoú might think am in a Zoo but no.....just somé island......
i love these dogs.......so pretty right? and i even get a kiss......hehehe

what have i gained?

along the way travelling, what have i learned?, well, i really learned a lot, i used to waste food, i never like to finsh what so ever is on my plate, but now, i realise when food is so expensive , i cant afford to waste food......hehehe. and most of the time, i finish up the whole plate.

what else have i learned? i learned to sleep with funny funny people in a dorm, everyday it changes, can be man or woman, old or young and best of all, from all around the world, i kinda like hostels in Finland as we were allow to cook and while cooking, we share food with other backpackers as well and we share thoughts too. i took this pic in one island, while i was walking, i was really walking alone and hardly seen anyone, i thought i was lost, then slowly i see lots of people having evening jog, then i knew i was not lost.
i like to take pics with doors.........and this is one of it
i love this pic as the combination of colors is really perfect.........purple, whie, yellow and blue sky .....just so NICE......

i was kinda homesic, just as i mentioned it to some of the backpackers during dinner, most of them were older and been travelling for quite some time, some of them are flying back home soon, i was so envy that i told them i still have a month to go and i have already home sick.and one of them told me " oh, dont think of it, we are all here", a simple sentence can actually have such a big impact on me, the next morning as i greet two Americans who has been travelling around in Russia for weeks and heaidng back home goodbye, in my mind, i console myself, sooner or later someone else is gonna greet me with safe journey back home too.

and some of you might wonder and keep asking me how the hell i get so much of money to travel , to be frank, i am not rich, i am really stingy with my food now, today i had bread whole day, and while i was having my bread and my friend having McD, i really feel like vommitting eating my bread, but to survive, have to la......but sometimes i get good food also, especially when staying with family. And i hardly enter places that needs money, i drink water from tap (everybody does), i go to toilet that no need to pay........as it cost bout RM 3 to enter toilet sometimes. Now that i am in Scandinavia country, everything is super duper expensive!!!.......well, i have not reach the most expensive Norway yet, so i will update later on ....on how i survive in the most expensive country of the world.

more pics

sorry, the sequnece is out, this is london, somewhere near greenwich, is a place where all the big buidlings are situated, mostly banks......is called Canary Whaft, i kinda like this place as just by the river , you see big big and tall tall building.

oh so famous Trevi Fountain in Rome, is call Fontana Trevi here, one of the most visited fountain in the world, as you can see, i look so excited as the next day i am off the London for a good rest , and we save this fountain last........i still prefer Vatican City and Collesuem more than this. There is a believe that if you throw a coin in, you will be sure to get back to Rome agian, throw in 2 coins, you will meet someone you like in Rome, 3 coins and you will be married to him, no wonder lots of coin inside.....hahaha!!i throw my last 20 sen malaysian coin in it hoping to get back again? .......hmmm ..maybe later in my life gua...hahaah

Vatican City, the building behind me is San Peitro Basalica or better known as St Peter, it is where pope preaches and is HUGE!!.......one of the best cathedrals i ever visited, lots of people tho, beside is the Musuem of Vatican, one of the most visited musuem and best musuem in the world, we queued for bout 700 m.
this is Florence....on the way down a fortress, we suppsoe to go out for night view, but we get to wrong road and ended up here but its a great walk tho.

travelling life -chapter 4

well, i call this fourth chapter simply because this is the 4th country .....that is United Kingdom, did not blog much due to limited access to internet and been busy travelling too, finally i survive Italy after hearing so many bad news bout it especially regarding the professional pick pockets, well, i remembered the day when i about to leave Rome , i was so eager to leave Rome after so many days in Italy, not that i dont like Italy, just that maybe the weather is killing me, its hot and you dont get air conditiion in the train or bus or shops, so its extra hot, thanks to so many water taps all around rome ( means free water), the water from those taps are really really cooling, probably is from the underground.

talk back bout my flight from Rome to London, my flight was at 2210, but i leave camp site at 3pm, went to somewhere near to Collesuem and have a cup of coffee, a toast while reading some story books , till bout 1630, i leave to visit round that area, a nice church over there and at 1800, i leave to take the train to the nearest stop for airport. I actually reach airport before 1900, that is a bit too early. i have to wait to check in.

After checking in........i feel so relieved, finally , am going back somewhere which is a house that is nice and warm. Maybe i was too eager that i left my water bottle in the waiting room, so i leave without water, flight 2.5 hrs no water, reach london airport have to queue to passport check for more than an hour, still no water to drink. Then the journey back to my aunts house is another good old 45 mins or so.........i am practically dried up and the weather in london that night was really really cold, thats make me wonder why everyone carry a jacket and i done!!......cause is so hot in Rome, i did not know that is still cooling in London, but the next day, is the same old hot day as well......hahaha

i slept till lunch time, finally i get a great sleep!!.........so relieved........

photos photos

First day in Vienna, just stepped down and i was dragged to go around the city, the picture here shows a castle or schloss in their language.

me and yean sang in English Park, Munich, Germany, can you spot and nude around? plenty over there and due to world cup, there are lots of funny funny people around and beer is definitely a must in Germany regardless of breakfast, lunch or dinner, guess i pick up my beer drinking here, everyone drinks, you just have to drink to feel that you are in germany. hahaha

cant upload so many pictures, the files too big and i cant find any tools to resize it at the moment, so only 2 pictures from 2 countries, the rest probably later.

in London now, been enjoying the here, language is defintely not a problem here everything in English as compared to the other 3 countries that i been to. Its a nice country to visit tho, the parks here is really really great, so relaxing.

hot hot hot

damn....leaving Malaysia to Europe thought that is gonna be not so hot, but its damn damn hot, to the extend that i cant stand anymore. hahaha

initally in Austria and Germany was ok, but when i reach Rome, its really really hot but i still wonder why all those guai low still can tahan and just walk through all the historical places.

how hot? i myself also can explain, probably because most of the public transport and places here no air condition and fan, that makes it worst, all hostels also no fan, but at night is cooling and nice. And the sun only sets at 10 pm and rise as early as 5 am i think, so its really really hot.

went to Vatican City yesterday, had to bear with a queue of 700m to enter vatican museum and about 200 m queue to enter St Peter Basalica....finally i enter the most gorgeous cathedral and even can see pope John Paul II body, wow, the cathedral is simply awesome and worth the queue. And vatican city is really a holy place, very much different from the surrounding Rome.

Today went to Collesuem, another great buidling, if only the weather is better.

well...we been stayng in camp site, so you can imagine how hot is it la...hahhaa, but we got used to it since we have no other alternative and at night is actually quite nice, no electircity but we still can bear with it, got swimming pool and everyone in the campsite simply just enjoy , no stress which make our tired legs and body relax too.

we had chinese food today!!....it is actually cheaper than the local food, it does not taste as nice but sufficient to counter our urge for chinese food

travelling life

cant believe i been away from home for nearly 2 weeks d, i know i still have a long way to go though.....hahha

well, travelling life cant be hectic, tired, nice at the same time, along the way,i actually meet lots of great people that helped me through, like yesterday we were looking for the correct bus stop to wait for our bus back to florence, we ased few people, mostly directing to different places and talk to us in langauges that we o not understand at all, so we just waited at the wrong one, suddenly one old man on a bicycle came, talk to us in italian, we do not understand but we knew he is trying to helped us and keep on asking us to go to the other bus stop and its the last bus to catch. In the end the ran to the the bus, he was even looking at the bus moving on he feel relieved, we feel so thankful....apart from saying grazzie(thank you ) .

and yesterday we climb up to some view point to see the whole of florence, we actually got lost somewhere but that somewhere finally still lead us to where we wanna go just that it takes some effort to walk, so we decided to sit back , relax at the view point, have some pizza and tiramisu, the view is definitely awesome.

and italian? some are really leng chai, but not as friendly as i expected, americans are more friendly in fact...

hhehehe, its been more than 10 days, am still surviving, been really budget, we usually had heavy breakfast then skip lunch and dinner also eat light light only. i choose not enter most museums, as all cost money....

and about the churches here, there is one day when i having stomach cram, i decided to rest in a church , church is everywhere here and doors are always open, so i went in and sleep, and the father came, woke me up, but he gave me signs to ask me to continue my rest, i was so touched. everytime i visit church, my feel so calm, and i saw some backpackers having silent prayer too , i guess they are homesick just like me, luckily churches are everywhere, a place that i seek solace.
